In a typical year, Harvest Ball is a celebration of Local Matters’ work in food education, access, and advocacy. It is an opportunity to recognize those who make our innovative, hands-on programs possible. This year, however, Harvest Ball is much more than that.

Our annual event falls at a time when we will be emerging from a year and a half of emergency-response food access, adapted food education programming, and tireless advocacy around food justice. When the Local Matters community gathers in person on Friday, October 8, at the new home of the Columbus Crew, Lower.com Field, for Harvest Ball 2021, we will celebrate our accomplishments and our path forward.

SAFETY
 

Safety is a vital priority for Local Matters. As such, Local Matters requests that all guests wear masks when not actively eating and drinking at Harvest Ball. Masks will be available on-site. We ask that all Harvest Ball guests be vaccinated against COVID-19.

This page will be updated frequently with additional safety protocols over the coming weeks. All registered attendees will receive regular email communications with pertinent information following their registration.

We understand that not everyone will be comfortable attending an in-person event. We will have options available for ticket purchasers to engage in the fun virtually. If you would like to attend virtually, please indicate that when you purchase your ticket or reach out to Adam Fazio, afazio@local-matters.org, to let us know your plans.
